| 0:56.9 | by a fence between his yard and ours. Of course, as a young girl, I don't remember much about the |
| 1:02.8 | garden, only that he had one. But when I became a gardener in my early 30s, my mom and I were |

| 1:12.4 | really fascinating. She told me that Pop planted by the signs, that he went strategically and |
| 1:20.1 | religiously by the farmer's almanac. I'm not sure which almanac it was, but it was an almanac |

| 1:28.8 | a story of how he would come over and watch her planting something. And he would be like, |
| 1:33.6 | it's not the right sign. You shouldn't be planting that right now. And she would roll her eyes because |
| 1:38.2 | she was a college educated woman and thought, of course, she knew how to garden. But she said, |

| 1:52.1 | he was right on the money, he was absolutely right, and his gardens flourished. Just hearing that story and having fond memories of pop as a little girl, it's always intrigued me. The concept of |
