Today, we’re joined by Michelle Stumbo (married to Nick Stumbo, the Executive Director for Pure Desire). We talk through what healing from betrayal looks like when your husband is the pastor. So today we had Michelle Stumbo, who, for those you don't know her is Nick Stumbo's wife.
0:56.3	And we got to do kind of a behind the scenes, the other perspective, being a pastor's wife
1:01.9	and being a betrayed pastor's wife and what that looks like.
1:04.6	It was really fun to just have a little bit of a fresh perspective because I know a lot
1:09.5	of times Nick hosts the podcast and he
1:13.3	tells a lot of his story. And so just hearing that same story from Michelle's perspective, I thought
1:19.5	was just really fun and different because of just being the partner. And we don't really get to
1:26.8	ever hear how she struggled
1:28.2	specifically or with what things that she did. But also I think it was good to, you know, just
1:34.2	have that perspective of somebody, a partner who has experienced betrayal, but can't really
1:39.5	tell anybody about it because of her husband's position. And so that was really, I thought that
1:45.9	that was encouraging to hear kind of what it looked like realistically for their healing journey
