Summary

Today’s class is about why people conform. Conform means to comply with rules, standards, or laws. Compliance isn't always bad. We follow laws to avoid jail, and high performers set their own standards. Without compliance, there'd be chaos—imagine ignoring traffic lights or building codes. But many people conform unnecessarily, limiting their potential and opportunities. Today, I'll explain these unnecessary ways of complying, why they happen, and what you can do about it. Show Notes: [04:27]#1 It's easy to follow the crowd. [09:45]#2 Going against the grain is emotionally painful, and you will be attacked for it.   [21:02]#3 If it were easy to not conform, it wouldn't be what it is.
