30 years ago, today, this day, April 19, 1993,

the standoff at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco

came to a fiery end.

Prior to that, when tensions were high,

a very, very rare, odd, unprecedented, perhaps, move occurred,

where the FBI allowed criminal defense attorney Dick DeGaron

to enter the compound and talk to the folks within

the hopes that he'd be able to talk them into coming out.

There's a new documentary out about this whole thing,

and I think it's in light.

There were a lot of things about the seeds that I did not know.
