The game-changer? The real value of Hyatt started to shine when other hotel rewards programs began to slowly devalue their points. Amidst the 2020 pandemic, Hyatt cleverly made it much simpler to achieve their coveted Globalist status, igniting a spark of interest among travelers. Pam summed it up perfectly: once you taste the perks of being a Globalist, you simply can't go back.

In addition to the irresistible Globalist status, we talked about the ease of earning Hyatt points, particularly compared to other hotel brands. With Hyatt's beneficial partnership with Chase, we can effortlessly accumulate points through Hyatt Personal and Business Cards, as well as Chase's Ultimate Rewards cards like the Sapphire Preferred, Reserve, Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited, and Ink Cards.

You may hear us talk about Hyatt frequently and wonder why we are so obsessed with this hotel chain. So we are here to tell you all about why Hyatt deserves all
1:13.3	the praise that it gets. So I thought it would be kind of fun to kick this episode off just discussing
1:19.9	a little bit of our background with Hyatt because I don't think any of us have always been
1:26.5	super into Hyatt. I think it's more, I mean, me a little bit longer
1:31.0	than the two of you, but it's more recent. So for me, I started travel hacking in 2015,
1:36.5	and definitely for the first few years, I was more of a free agent when it came to hotels. I
1:42.5	didn't really have loyalty with any particular brand. I got Hyatt cards. I got
1:48.0	IHG cards. I got Marriott cards. And I got Hilton cards. Like I just got them all and collected all the
1:53.8	points. I would say a few years ago, I really started to see Hyatt as offering the most value. The other programs were starting to slowly devalue theirs.
