Stafford as we take you through how we've been training and planning for this world

record attempt. In this episode, we'll take you through the route in detail. Chris will share what

my day today is going to look like, including 3am starts and pre-race ice baths.

We'll talk you through some of the biggest challenges for the team and I, including one that hadn't even crossed our minds until the RECI.

So logistically for the people that are listening that maybe don't know that much about this sort of event, where are you guys starting?

So we start about 20 kilometres south of Petra.

Yeah.

Beautiful place. Yeah, it's stunning.

Stunning, yeah. So it's in the southern, it's kind of, well, Petra's like mid to south Jordan.

And then the southern section, the most popular section of desert, it's called the Wadi Rum desert.

A lot of people have heard of that. It's called the Wadi Rum Desert. A lot of people have heard of that.

It's where the Martian was shot.

Phil and the Martian was shot there. I think Lawrence of Arabia made it famous as a movie.

But as it's been said, we start in the mountains. So you kind of have two different types of terrain.

Sand is a vast spectrum of things, right? You know, You can have soft sand dunes. You can have nice compact

sand that feels like you're running on a road. And you can have an adventure where you include
