assessment. So when you're taking your skills labs and you're

practicing on patients in the hospital, your head totoe assessment is going to take like 10 or 15 minutes.

I promise you will get much faster at doing these. And one of the reasons is because in a lot of

cases you'll be doing more of a focused assessment and then really drilling down into the body system that is causing your

patient the most trouble like for instance a really focused cardiovascular

But today we're just going to talk about a basic head-to-toe assessment for your patient

who's come in for a common problem. Let's say they've got a pneumonia or something like that.

So you're going to do a basic head-to- toe assessment on this person with a little more attention on the lungs.
