Welcome back to the Epic Gardening Podcast.

It is Weed Week, supposedly, although most of the stuff we're talking about you're going to find quickly can be used in many different ways and should not be thought of as a weed.

So we have Rosa Lee de la Fauré on the podcast.

She's an herbalist.

She's an author of the upcoming book Wild Remedies coming out April 7th and

she's also written alchemy of herbs which is really about how to use herbs in

your everyday life and incorporate them. And so today what we're're going to talk about Rosalie is probably the number one

weed that most people struggle with.

They'll battle it in their lawns, they'll battle it on their garden edges and borders, and

that would be the almighty dandelion.

Yes dandelion. Yeah because it's so ubiquitous it makes it the perfect gateway herb, you know

the perfect herb to fall in love with and bring into your life and

and just really enjoy so I love to I love to help people turn into dandelion

lovers yeah I will say that I really didn't have a knowledge of them and what they could and couldn't be used

for before I would say maybe January of last just, they weren't in my mind.

You know, I wasn't thinking about them.

I was focused on my edible garden.

I was focused on my vegetables.

And then having a couple of people on the podcast really turned my mind around about it and I'd love to hear more from your perspective as an herb list.
