When we last left the tale of Zach and Adi, Hurricane Katrina was looming, and the young

couple were deeply in love.

With Katrina about to hit land, Mayor Ray Nagan urged the citizens of New Orleans to leave,

but didn't call for mandatory evacuation.

Lana left with the children, called Zach in a panic, asking what they were going to

do, and he told her nothing that he was staying with Adi.

Lana was furious, but worried enough that she even told Zach he could bring Adi with

She wasn't jealous at all, she'd known about the relationship for a while.

She had found a poem entitled Soldier Boy and Zach's Things, and was happy that he seemed

to be moving on to a woman that wanted to care for him.

The poem was very loving and tender, and indicated a desire to fix this broken man.

And Lana still cared for Zach even though their relationship was over, so she really was

happy and not jealous.
