It's been a few weeks since we recorded the last episode.

Not that any of you would know that because we haven't

All right. So today, I'm going to be talking about the praying mantis.

There are very many types of mantises.

So to be particular, I'm talking about the European mantis.

The scientific name is mantis religiosa.

I decided to pick this species of praying mantis because it's the most common.

This is typically the one that you're going to see, and it's probably the one you're thinking of right now.

It's the green one that it's a pretty basic, like, starter praying mantis.

Sure, so this is the kind we would probably find in our backyard.
