Saturday November 25th. A delayed release for a group of hostages

expected to be freed by Hamas today. Hamas says it is delaying the handover of hostages

on the second day of its truce with Israel as it disputes the amount of aid

being delivered and the selection of Palestinian prisoners being released.

CNN initially reported that the handover was underway,

based on Hamas and Israeli sources earlier statements to CNN.

But soon after Hamas issued a statement saying they were delaying the release of

hostages until the quote

terms of agreement were agreed to by Israel referring to the aid and the release of

Palestinian prisoners. When asked about the delay this is what Israel Defense Forces spokesman Richard Heck told

CNN's Caitlin Collins. For this second release of hostages why aren't we

seeing the movement yet so far do you have any insight into that?

So it's taking time. Again, we are waiting for this procedure that's going basically through the Red Cross.

It's a slow process. It'll take time and we're all waiting for this to move ahead.

Collins also asked Hecht about the detention of Al-Shiva Hospital Director Mohammed Abu Salmaia, Hek said they are quote, still talking to him.

Hek described Salmaia's continued detention as a quote, good idea, saying that the Al-Shiva Hospital in Gaza is a quote, bed of terrorism.
