and all eyes would be on Vice President

Kamla Harris who's expected to formally accept the party's historic presidential

nomination. She's the first black woman and first Asian American to lead a major political party's ticket.

The Democratic nominee is expected to address immigration, among other issues, in her remarks

tonight.

Hours before she takes the stage, former President Donald Trump heads to the U.S. Mexico border in Arizona.

He's expected to blame here as for the handling up the southern border.

In an interview on Fox News today, he addressed another key issue heading into the 2024 election.

Abortion, responding to Democratic Vice Presidential candidate symbols his claim that Republicans

quote, will ban abortion across this country with or without Congress.

Top US officials are taking part in negotiations in Cairo this weekend to secure

a ceasefire and hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas.

Tensions have been high across the

region since Iran and its regional allies, vowed to retaliate against Israel
