There's a growing chorus of Democrats publicly calling on President Joe Biden to step aside.

Congressman Pat Ryan became the 8th Congressional Democrat to do so today.

Democratic Congressman Richie Torres suggested Biden's candidacy as a quote,

political suicide mission. In a New York Times op ed

referencing Biden's debate performance actor and Democratic meggadoner George

Clooney said quote we are not going to win in November with this president.

But Biden is holding steadfast on the campaign trail.

Today he met with top union leaders at the AFL-CIO headquarters,

believing union support could be key to his re-election.

So it's your agenda we're working on.

And by the way, I've said from the beginning that when labor does well, everybody does better.

Not a joke.

That's not a talking point the US and a number of

allies are sending f-16 fighter jets to Ukraine as its war with Russia continues it

comes as Secretary of State Anthony Blaken

indicated that the country was, quote,

irreversibly on the path to joining NATO

as long as it continues reforms.

At a NATO public forum in Washington, D.C. today, he said the alliance will unveil a new package in the coming days that, quote,

builds a very clear, strong, robust, well-lit bridge to NATO membership for Ukraine.
