Back in 2013, my boyfriend and I had moved to a different town for a year.

We ended up finding an old house from 1909 and renting it for the year.

A few months after we moved in, we occasionally started hearing these really loud thumping

and banging noises coming from the ceiling.

The sounds would never start until we were in bed for the night and the TV was off.

The attic had been sealed up and there were no holes for animals to get in.

Sometimes it would be so loud that it would rattle the entire house.

Nobody would believe me so.

I tried recording some of these noises.

We did have friends stay overnight a couple of times but of course the thumping sounds

would never happen when they were there.

We asked around and tried to find any possible explanation for this but couldn't come up

with anything.

Eventually I came up with the idea to record in the bedroom while we were sleeping.

I immediately caught two things over the next couple of nights.

Neither of these voices are my boyfriend.

Since I was alone a lot during the night, boyfriend worked odd shifts, I decided I'd

rather be ignorant than scared to sleep in my own house so I stopped recording.

I'm sort of curious what anyone thinks about this or if they can understand the EVP's.

It was a happy day when we were able to move away from there.
