Okay, hello and welcome to episode three of the podcast, What Most People Think. This is the first time you're listening. Thank you for joining us. It's a show about, I don't know, an old-fashioned thing that what the majority of people think should maybe be the thing that happens. I don't know. Some of you might say that's how fascism starts. I don't know. But anyway, look, we're going to try and look at these kind of issues in a playful way.

I just like to say thank you to everybody that gave me positive feedback for the new microphone last week.

But obviously, the sound nerds were out again about the popping. Was the popping a problem for you?

Was it pricking your pulling your plonker? So i'm aware that i have got issues with i've got

popping issues these are lots of things i never knew about myself until i started doing a podcast

but i haven't managed to get that sorted out this week uh but i will try and get that sorted out

in the fullness of time again thank you to everybody buying tour tickets there's a few of them

I probably shouldn't do that. I should hype it more, shouldn't like that? It's close to selling out, and it's a massive room. It's not, basically. It's the size of a canteen. I have got today, a lot of people ask me about having guests on the show. And the problem is because I don't live in London where all the talent is darling,

that sort of thing.

Totally outside of the liberal bubble out here in Cambridge. Did you say Cambridge here? Yeah, well, not that bit of Cambridge here, all right? This is, don't go get an image as me on it. Like sitting, punt in my way to fucking work down the river. It's not quite that bit.

Having said that, I have got a guest for you today. Oh boy. That's the first time I've ever said. Oh, boy out loud. I've got Andrew Doyle. Andrew Doyle. Now, if you don't know Andrew, he's a brilliant stand-up. He's a brilliant writer. He writes for the Jonathan Pye character. but also he is the the cruel patriarch earning money out of internet's hysterical sensation Titania McGrath now if you don't know about

And John Burko, another little mischievous move by the Burko. I'm really glad that Brexit is so, you know, he's finding the whole process so entertaining.

I'm really glad that this huge attempt to change the way that we're governed is an opportunity for him to really enforce the Burko brand.
