permaculture designer and quite a bit of experience with herbs as well and

today we're going to be talking about making some gifts from the garden and Seth and you have three gifts for this

episode and these ones are edible gifts right? Yeah these ones I picked out for you

because you like the gifts to be both practical and come from the edible garden.

You know that's right at my alley.

Well, let's go ahead and crack out what number one.

Great.

So, you know, when you have your herb garden and you're harvesting it, you all usually

have too many herbs than you can ever possibly use.

But the thing is with herbs once they're dried is they don't taste as good as they do when they're fresh.

And I know there's lots of recipes that called for dry herbs.

I just, I can't, I can't, once you've had fresh herbs available all year round I just can't with the

dried herbs in my food so these are a couple of ways that I preserve herbs for the winter months but also they make really nice gifts for

people and you'll always have too many of them too many herbs to give away
