This week, our 19 part coverage of Stephen King's It continues with part two. We'll be covering the rest of chapter three, six phone calls, and the first Dairy Interlude of the novel in this week's section. We meet the rest of our cast of characters and start to learn a little bit more about the strange history of Derry Main. Matt, what did you think about this week's reading?

This was some intense stuff.

I really loved every bit of it, actually. I think this is between the whole six phone calls, mini arc or whatever you want to call it,

some of King's best examples of his ability to just nail a character to a page in a way where you're like,

that's it.

I now know this person.

If I met them on the street, I would recognize them.

You know what I mean?

It's so good.

This is maybe my favorite example of it ever.

And then, of course, what I said about it being intense,

there's some stuff in here where I'm like, wow, he goes all the way, right?

...
