I did really well on those tests, all those psychological tests and essays.

Got a minor cold here, as you can hear, but I don't think that'll interfere with my progress

on this 200-mile walk.

No, no, you'll be fine, man.

It just means you have to just work a little bit harder.

That's all.

You know, I heard that vitamin C is good for you.

I've also heard that. So just take some of that.

Yeah, that's the plan.

This week on the show, our coverage of Richard Bachman's The Long Walk continues with our fourth episode.

This week will be covering chapters 10 through 13 of the novel. It's our penultimate episode,

Matt. The next chapters will be the end of the book, so we're getting there. I don't know.

I guess does it feel like the book's almost over to you?

Well, that's a really interesting question because it is a very structurally strange book.

So in one sense, no, but like the book has had no clear structural demarcations of any kind.

Sure.

You know, it would be very difficult for me to go through and say where the act breaks are.

I'm sure it, I'm sure you could argue that it has some, but I would be hard pressed to find them or at least to argue that they're clear cut.
