When working on bridge construction, I've watched a guy fall 20 feet, land on his back. He had the wind knocked out of him, but walked away on scathed. That's what I'm saying. I think you distribute that force. Yeah. But he didn't try to fall that way. He just fell that way. No, he just got lucky. Right, right. I bet you there are guys on a football field who have been hit close to the force of a 20-foot fall. Oh, yeah. You've gotten the wind knocked out of them. You get blindsided on the block. Anybody's played any kind of football has been blindsided back when you could actually blindside block, which is the best. Now they're pussies. And Kevin. Kevin here is a phone. Kevin. Did you fall off some stuff? Did you fall, buddy?

It was a buddy's 18th birthday, and we asked him what he wanted to do.

He wanted to take some mushrooms and climb Hickman Water Tower.

Okay, the Hickman, Nebraska, or is it, Iowa?

The bottom of the ladder is about 30 yards up. Yeah, I want to ask you about this because there's a water tower near my neighborhood when I was a kid. I was straight out of Daisy Confused. We used to camp underneath it and drink underneath it. And now it's a whole development around it. But we never, we could never get to

it to climb the whole way up like they do in the movies because you're right. The, the ladder

is too high to start with. How did you guys get to that? Right. Yeah. So there's some conduit that is

spaced just far enough away from one of the gigantic legs of this thing. Okay. If you can get your hands behind it. So you shimmy up the conduit with your legs straight in front of you. Uh-huh. And I was the last one, so by the time they got to the ladder and got up on the ladder, I'd get to the bottom of the ladder and I'm gassed. Oh. And I tried a couple times. I had one more run to go to get my knee on the bottom, but I couldn't do it.

And I kept trying, and then the next thing I know, I'm falling and gaining speed, landed hard on my feet, and then landed hard on my side.

And then I realized that something was wrong with my right foot.

It was basically shattered.

Were you shrewman when you fell?

Do you think if you weren't high, you probably could have made it or not?

I don't, I think either way, I would have been gassed.

Man, well, you went downs, they all had to come down.
