trip into the future? Because we want to know which elements of the faith are

permanent and unchanging and which might in fact change in the future.

remarkably we can actually know a good deal I mean we can't know that the year

3,000 will come but but if it does come, we'll just put that out there.

We can know, and part of the reason I want to ask you about this has to do with the fact that I think people feel like so much is changing.

There's this kind of anxiety about the change in the church, but if we have faith and believe in the promises of Jesus some stuff's not going to change.

So just for an example, I mean when you think about it a thousand years from now,

the church was doing what she's doing now in the year 1,000, a thousand years ago.

That's right.
