where we'll see that when you accidentally turn yourself into a donkey through some

mislabeled lotion you're in for a bad time. Also, we'll see that the best way to listen to the myths

and legends back catalog is in a cave surrounded by dangerous strangers. The creature this time

is a tiger wolf tanuki combo with deadly bad breath.

This is a podcast where we tell stories from mythology and folklore. Some are incredibly

popular stories you might think you know, but with surprising origins. Other stories that might

be new to you, but are definitely worth listening. We're back in the metamorphoses of Appalais.

Last week, we started the story of Lucius, who really wanted to learn how to be a wizard.

But well, he had a little accident. When his girlfriend broke into a witch's hut, and he

slathered himself with a magical ointment, he found that he didn't turn himself into an eagle,

but a donkey. Which would have been fine. All he needs to do to change back is to eat some roses.

But when his girlfriend went to get him some roses and left him in the stable,

well, the house he was staying at, my lows was robbed. The stolen goods were piled on his back,

and he was let off into the mountains.

Lucius ate T.A.G.T. all over, the burden, the beatings. He couldn't go on. They seem to walk

endlessly in the mountains. At first, Lucius's donkey faced lit up when just a day outside of
