You've heard it said we reap what we sow. Well, Jacob certainly experienced this.

God used it to shape him, to teach him, to sanctify him.

What might God be using in your life to get your attention and to prepare you for your part in his plan?

And if you arguments with scales, not fish scales, but the kind of scales that tell you how much

you weigh, I've stood on the scales and stared at the number and said, no, you can't be right.

You can't be right. You're inaccurate. You're over weighing me. I'm not that heavy.

But the scales never reply. They never argue. Scales never defend themselves.

Does no good to argue with scales about your weight. Did you already know that?

Does no good to argue with the mirror about your appearance. I've done that too.
