Summary

Media is everywhere. It's almost impossible to avoid. Are there some pitfalls and dangers? Of course, just like any other area of life. This is a quickly evolving landscape and it's only going to evolve faster. We can both protect our kids and teach them good online choices and still allow them the opportunity to benefit from all the positive aspects. In this episode, I cover the many ways you can leverage the positive aspects of media with your kids.

0:54.7	And it's become especially prevalent since COVID for a lot of our kids.
0:59.3	Kids are actually connecting more online, especially have kids who are a little bit older now.

1:05.4	Actually, my older son is still hanging out online with a lot of his friends from where we used to live.

1:10.9	amazing to see. And it's something we deal with at every age and every stage. We want our kids to be
1:17.5	media savvy. We want them to be able to use technology for the positive it brings, including
1:22.3	opening up a world of learning, connecting, and career opportunities. We also want them to be able to navigate the
1:29.1	negative parts and make good choices to understand the dangers and then decide accordingly.
