Summary

Ever feel like your phone is holding your family’s memories hostage? You’re not alone! Today, professional photo organizer Casey von Stein—better known as Miss Freddy—is back to help us tackle the digital photo clutter and create tangible keepsakes that actually get enjoyed (instead of collecting digital dust).

We’re diving into:

  • The emotional weight of unorganized photos (and how to lift it off your shoulders)\
  • Why printing your photos isn’t just cute—it’s essential for preserving family memories
  • Simple, no-stress ways to get your pictures off your phone and into your life (hello, photo placemats!)
  • The #1 first step to take when sorting through thousands of photos (because yes, we’ve ALL got a million of them)

Plus, Casey shares the genius (and surprisingly easy!) way she created a legacy book for her mother-in-law—so her family stories can be passed down for generations.

If your camera roll is a black hole of 30,000+ pictures, don’t worry—this episode will help you declutter, organize, and finally do something with those precious memories.

and I want to kick off by asking, if you could magically declutter one thing from your life for effort,

0:45.5

like no effort required, what would it be? Forever. Oh my goodness. I'm going to do a really shallow one. I hate that my kids' underwear is

0:57.9

always stuck in their pants when it comes time to do laundry. So I would declutter that from my life.

1:05.2

That is actually a really great answer. I think they're all great. It's funny to see where people

1:09.7

take it. But yes,

1:16.4

or like the socks even, sometimes getting stuck in the pants. Now, here's I decluttered doing my kids laundry. So they have to deal. They learned quickly when they were doing their own,

1:21.5

started their own laundry last summer. They were eight and nine now. It's annoying to have to like

1:26.1

enroll your socks and like get your undies out of your pants. Not that they haven't

1:30.7

washed them like that before. Oh man, you took it next level. Okay. I'm going to declutter

1:37.7

that from my life by making my kids do my laundry. I'm in. Heck yeah. Let's simplify.

1:42.6

Okay. So you've been on the show before. So you're obviously,

1:45.4

for those who haven't met you, you are a mom and your career is your professional photo organizer.

1:51.1

That's how we originally connected. So I'd love to ask, why do you think it's so important for you

1:56.8

and, you know, the families you work with to go beyond just storing photos on our phones or even our computers

2:02.9

and actually enjoy and utilize them. Oh, I have so many reasons, but I'll just give two. Number one,
