Lia Valencia Key is a jewelry designer and founder of her company, Valencia Key Jewelry, where she creates "Wearable Joy" that was recently featured in OPRAH Magazine 2020 Favorite Things Issue. Raised in very humble beginnings in an impoverished neighborhood of Philadelphia, Lia lived in a homeless shelter with her mother, sister, and brother. Her mom told her, "Your predicament does not determine your destiny", and she encouraged Lia to never leave the house without wearing her sparkling earrings that would serve as a reminder of the light within.
