I sense some hesitancy on your part.

This is another one of those magic times where I was too old, or not too old, but the wrong age.

The exact wrong age to be judging this. Any opinion I give in this episode is, I guarantee,

incorrect. Okay, well, let's say what it is first. Like, we are doing in the end by Lincoln Park,

a true classic versus Bring Me to Life by Evanescence, another true classic, despite what Dan

might say for the rest of the episode.

Well, I just want to say, I mean, I went through the comments.

We usually say the comments for the end, but somebody had said that they were going to listen to some new metal to make themselves feel okay about the fact that one or both of us was going to make them feel bad and they would feel like not one of the

cool kids. I was between 22 and I think 26 or thereabouts during the popularity of these

bands and these two songs. And I just was, my opinions are wrong. They're just wrong about both,

I'm sure. certainly my knee jerk

responses having done some research maybe i've arrived at better ones but um where i start i'm

positive is incorrect yeah this one's going to be interesting because i you know i was maybe the

right age i don't know like i was 16 when that first album dropped so that seems like the right age. I don't know. Like, I was 16 when that first album dropped.

So that seems like the right age.
