our parents than the outside world. Us. We know them as our fathers and mothers. They're the people

who nurtured and taught us. It has we age and get to the stage of life our parents were in when

we were kids. There's a reckoning like how do they do all that? Or gee, I guess I'm an adult now.

And while the stories you hear about your parents younger days can be at odds with the view we have

of them as the responsible people who put food on the table and button you up for school in a cold

winter morning. But yeah, they're still people. And they had lives before you ever showed up.

Dalya Baita just learned a secret long held by her father. She files this report today for the secret room.

When I was growing up, we had this picture of my dad from when he was in the Air Force around

the time of the Vietnam War. He's wearing like, you know, the top gun Air Force jumper fatigues thing.

And he's sitting in a chair, relaxing. He's got a cigarette in hand. And he's just having a great

time. It looks really cool. So I always knew he was cool. But when I was talking to my family
