Welcome to the Raging Patriot podcast. I'm your host Joey Saladino, where we go through everything

in the news together. Now let's get into this. So hospitals get paid more if patients are listed

as COVID-19 on ventilators. This is posted on USA Today. Now this we're going to go through how much

more hospitals are getting paid if the patient is a COVID-19 patient. So Jen,

Jenson said hospital administrations might as well want to seek COVID-19 attached to discharge

summaries or death certificates. Why? Because if it's a straightforward garden

variety, the moana that a person is admitted to the hospital, if their medicare, typically the

diagnosis related group lump sum payment would be 5,000. But if it's a COVID-19 the moana, then it's

13,000. And if that COVID-19 the moana patient ends up on ventilator, they then get 39,000.

So hospitals have this incentive to inflate the COVID-19 death count and serious infection

counts because they need the money. Now I'm not totally blaming the hospitals for doing this

because hospitals right now are at an all-time low. Nurses are being laid off. They're not getting

enough work because there's nobody going to the hospitals now because people are so scared

to leave their house because of COVID-19. They're not going to the hospital. So hospitals right now

are in financial trouble and they kind of need a COVID-19 patient just to stay open and they're not

even getting them. This whole thing is a big hoax. We can't trust the data. When I say hoax,

I'm not talking about COVID-19 doesn't exist. It obviously exists. I'm talking about the fact

that we're being lied to about the severity of the disease is the hoax. Now also the article says

how can anyone not believe the increase in COVID-19 deaths may create an avenue for states to

receive a larger portion of federal dollars. Already some states are complaining that they're not
