else today, other than the other B word, as he's so aptly referred to when we came in.

Maxwell. Of course we are. Maxwell doesn't look particularly interested in our conversation so far,

but then we haven't been only sleeping so today we're

talking about the outtakes on the 50th anniversary abbey road super deluxe edition as it was known

but before we get to the new version what your thoughts on the original god i can't remember

when i first heard it um but i mean, it is probably up there.

You know, you have those kind of internal arguments with yourself the whole time about, you know, if you were absolutely forced, otherwise someone was going to steal one of your children to name your favourite Beatles album, then I think I might ultimately go with Abbey Road.

Yeah, don't sound surprised. I think that's probably, isn't that obvious?

Revolver? No, no, no, no, no, definitely Abbey Road over it, Revolver. What about you?

I veer. Different day. Different album. Revolver, Sergeant Pepper, Abbey Road, with the Beatles.

I'm all over the place. But Abbey Road is their cleanest, isn't it? Sound-wise. And that's why I think this remix, this remastering is interesting. It takes us further and you hear things you haven't

heard before, but it is not as radical or revolutionary to the ears as the Sergeant

Pepper remastering. Because this was, it was on the cusp of the 1970s and the kind of new era,

oral era for recorded music. And Iberoid has a sheen and a polish that to previous albums

perhaps don't have to the to the same degree no less brilliant for it and no less of a fantastic
