It was a psychodrama of Shakespearean proportions between, in the red corner, Anthony Eden,

fading hottie and Prime Minister.

Greying mustache.

Prime Minister of Great Britain with a much younger wife, Clarissa.

And in the blue corner, you've got Nasser of Egypt, who is the young hottie, who is much closer in age to Clarissa. And the whole kind of sort of clash of these two

men, one of whom insists this dinner, this horrible dinner, of talking down to Nassah and explaining

to him what it is to be Arab.

You can just imagine.

Sort of buck clenching moment, that would have been.

And the two of them have precisely zero chemistry, unless the chemistry is explosive.

So from that point, I think what we should do is look ahead to July the 26, 1956, which is not long after this dinner.
