I have, Dominic. It's actually shocking news. It's shocking but also heartening. But just to remind you the listener, the rest is history is going on a nationwide tour at the end of April 2023.

I say tour but it's for three nights only. We'll be in London on the 25th of April and the historic Drury Lane Theatre. Then we'll be able to Edinburgh the following evening on the 26th of April to play at Usher Hall.

And we will finish on the 30th of April at the Larry in Sulford Greater Manchester. But Tom, the listeners are gacking to know about this shocking news that you have for them about the tour.

Ladies and gentlemen, I can announce that our London live show has now sold out. I repeat, all 2000 seats, yes 2000 seats at Drury Lane Theatre are now sold out.

So not even frozen the musical. The show that we are of course replacing at Drury Lane, not even frozen sold out that quickly.

I can imagine Elsa listening to this right now, fuming at the very thought of the rest is history stealing her snowy thunder. But Elsa, all I will say to you is let it go.

People can go to both shows. But just to emphasize, that's our first live date already sold out. And tickets are selling incredibly quickly for Sulford and Edinburgh too.

Hello and welcome to the rest is history now as many of you will know we have embarked on a colossal marathon taking in every single one of the 32 countries that has qualified for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

And we are talking about aspects of this country's history is now today we are light on the shores of the great North American country of Canada. Now you might think Canada is an odd place to qualify for the World Cup because it doesn't have a terribly distinguished footballing history.

And it does have an amazing sporting claim to fame doesn't it because is am I not right in thinking that Canada took part in the world's first ever international sporting fixture of any kind. It was against the United States and the sport was amazingly cricket.

So not I so that's our subject for today is it the Canadian cricket no I was I was very, very tempted to do the history of Canadian cricket but I decided not to. And instead I thought that I would focus on something else that is very, very close to my heart a truly admirable mammal Dominic yes and a mammal that in many ways is I guess the Stanley Baldwin of the animal world.

And it's the beaver and I describe it as the Stanley Baldwin of the animal world because it's it's kind of the in a way the embodiment of the kind of conservatism that Stanley Baldwin embodied so it's a proud home owner so it makes you know it's these wonderful kind of homes.

Yeah very monocamous so lifelong marriage relationship like Stanley and what what was that and Lucy and Lucy yeah or later the Empress theodore if you listen to our episode about love Island.

You know cares for its young all that kind of thing very hard working obviously chop busy chopping down trees and all that kind of stuff so in a way the kind of the embodiment of of a kind of conservative ideal if you like and it's a kind of served as an emblem if not for Canada then certainly for Canadian history.

So Canadians always had a slightly ambivalent relationship to the beaver so it has served them as a symbol of their country so 1851 it's very first post postage stamp.
