Welcome to the Bible study podcast. I'm your host, Chris Christensen. As I say, we're going to wrap up the

fundamentals of Christianity today. There's obviously lots left to be said, but I don't really

think we ought to overcomplicate the fundamentals of Christianity. We've talked about grace

and how we are given grace and called to grace. We've talked about forgiveness and how we've been

given forgiveness and we are called to forgive. And we've talked about forgiveness and how we've been given forgiveness and we are

called to forgive. And we've talked about love, how we've been given love, and we are called to love.

This last one, I'm really just going to summarize the fundamentals of Christianity as be like Jesus.

And we're going to look at some verses for that, but basically all that God wants us to be

is epitomized in how Jesus was, how Jesus is.

And so we're going to look at some verses for that.

And we're going to start with John 15, 9 through 16.

As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you.

Now remain in my love.

If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my father's commands

and remain in his love.

I have told you this so that joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

My command is this, love each other as I have loved you.

Greater love has no one than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.

You are my friends if you do what I command.

I no longer call you servants because a servant does not know his master's business.

But instead I have called you friends.
