Hi everybody, this is Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe

Gardner Show.

Over the years, I've heard from many of you who say your favorite episodes are the ones

where I start off by calling them geek alerts.

I love those two.

But after this conversation you're about to hear for today's episode, I found myself

thinking that it may be time to rate the level of geekiness whenever I give that alert.

I guess it's kind of like how they rate hurricanes from category one to five.

And although in the case of podcast geek alert warnings, any level is good.

So on a scale of one to five with five peaking the geek alert level, today may be the first

of what I think qualifies is a category five geek alert.

And if you are familiar with any of Jeff Lohenfeld's books, you won't be surprised why today's

episode qualifies because he's our guest today.

He's the author of several deep dive books into soil science.

And while he may not be the person behind the discoveries of many of the breakthrough information

that he writes about, he is the best person out there that I know of to be the messenger

for the rest of us.
