I am Kate, owner-founder of Be There In 5 LLC, namesake company, and also longtime fan

of crime mob, who sings stilettos, pumps.

And you know, I, back in the day.

I feel like when I first got myself introduced to, you know, a bright colored patent leather

pointed toad pump that I would buy at the local short pump marshals or TJ max, and I'd

wear a di-school, and I'd get high off that clacking in the hallways.

Public school hallways can be like runways.

Mine was no different.

I thought out my outfits so carefully.

I never repeated.

I always mixed and matched.

And to chop it off, I had an embarrassingly extensive statement necklace collection.

So as it was almost my signature, because I did work at the California Pizza Kitchen

where we had to wear a black.

The only color I was allowed to, you know, inject into my ensemble was jewelry.

So it kind of became my thing at the C.B.K.

It kind of became, you know, a signature outfit piece of mine.

And in retrospect, the vibe was a lot less high fashion and a lot more like Miss Frizzle,

all on Magic School Bus.

It was a little kitschy.
