Tesla is topping brand loyalty rankings.

Once again, the S&P Global Mobility

Automotive Loyalty Awards shows that Tesla saw the highest number of owners staying loyal

to the brand, maintaining their position from the previous year, and the highest number of

conquest buyers. That is to people who have switched from other brands. Apple is

halting their electric vehicle project after 10 years. And some say 10 billion dollars.

Spent 2,000 project employees will be moved to other parts of the Apple business to do with

generative AI. And some people might need to, um, other reapply for different jobs, but the team included

hundreds of hardware engineers and car designers. Reminds me very much of Dyson, who stopped

their project early, made a great vehicle. Two of them, I think, are on show in the reception

foyer areas of Dyson buildings. They're very proud of it and just say we

couldn't sell this at a price that made any sense, even though we've got the battery technology

within Dyson. Apple took longer to call it a day. And honestly, I'm kind of happy about that

because I'm sort of in the Apple ecosystem. And I'd like them to make carplay better, to make

Siri better, to make their AI offerings better.
