Today on the show we'll be discussing the theme of overpopulation and science fiction,

and I'm joined by three guests.

So first up we've got our producer John Joseph Adams. He's the editor of

Late Speed and Nightmare magazines and he also oversees John Joseph Adams books

an imprint of Houghton Harkworth. He's the series editor of the best

American science fiction and fantasy and he's also edited many other anthologies, including Brave New Worlds, a collection of dystopian fiction.

So, John, welcome back.

The next up we've got Carrie Vaughn, making her fifth appearance on the show.

She's the author of the New York Times best-selling Kitty Norville series about a

wherewolf who hosts a Radio Collins show for supernatural creatures, as well as the recent books Martians of Brom. The

Wewholin Show for Supernatural Creatures, as well as the recent books Martians Abroad and

other stories. Her new novel Bannerless about a dystopian future where

population control is mandatory is out now.
