Summary

While we may sometimes forget it, women are just not wired like men––I'm talking hormones and menstruation! These two things can seriously throw us off of our game, but instead of struggling through it, let's understand how it all works so we can use our cycles and hormones to our advantage. Today, Dr. Erin Ellis joins me to help educate us females on how female cycles work and when to know if it is time to rest, or time to get those creative juices flowing!

Dr. Erin Ellis is a cancer survivor who learned through her health journey that you shouldn't take your health for granted which inspired her to pursue her dreams and she became a Naturopathic Doctor. She now empowers women to be their best versions because she learned through her journey that life is too short to feel sub-optimal and given the right tools, your body has the innate ability to heal itself.

In this episode we talk about:

  • How mentorship scaled her from an underpaid female with a medical degree to a 6-figure self-employed physician
  • How you can use your menstrual cycle for productivity in business and in life!
  • Reasons why you might be feeling sick and tired
  • Common causes for brain fog that might be hindering your motivation
  • Why self-care is important for the entrepreneur
