10 years ago, Daina, her husband, and her best friend tried to launch a hair loss prevention product when they landed on something completely different: a brand of homemade kombucha they called Health-Ade.  

After months of selling at a local farmer's market, the three co-founders quit their jobs to pursue Health-Ade Kombucha full time. Today, Health-Ade brews more than 120,000 bottles of Kombucha every day, and does close to $200 million in sales.

I'm one of the three co-founders of Health Aid, kombucha. We are based in Torrance. And let's see,

I led the company as CEO for its first 10 years. We started the business about 10 years ago. And I recently moved into a new role called Chief Mission Officer when we sold the business. So that's me. I've got two sons. I live in PV, happily married, you know, love to do yoga and stuff like that. We can talk all about it.
