So this podcast is in response to a question that we got from a listener who was explaining that her six-year-old daughter says she hates being the oldest and

0:10.8

the mother thinks is partially because her daughter doesn't like to share with her younger siblings,

0:15.6

but we get this question in various forms consistently, which is older children are resenting

0:21.4

the younger siblings. They don't like the birth

order and the family and we do know this to be true for a lot of oldest children

1:24.2

siblings positions and he said no I love being the oldest so he's only seven

1:29.3

right now but I'm encouraged and we want to keep staying that course because we really want each one of our children to appreciate

1:37.6

Not only the family they were born into but the place in that

1:43.3

God's design within that. So anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this episode. That was a long winded intro. If you enjoy it, give it a thumbs up if you are here on YouTube

1:48.1

share it with someone if you feel like this would be encouraging to them. You guys get the word out there about that
