0:00.0	Well we're here overlooking Jerusalem you can see behind me that gold dome that's sort of an icon of Jerusalem
0:06.0	unfortunately it's a Muslim icon it's a Mohammedan icon we are at the spot right now of the church of
0:12.1	dominoes Flevit that's Latin for the Lord wept.
0:15.0	It commemorates the time when our Lord came up up here, he overlooked the city of Jerusalem,
0:20.0	and right where that golden dome is, that's where the temple was, the second temple.
0:24.0	And he wept because he said that the Jewish people, in particular Jerusalem,
0:28.0	they did not receive Jesus Christ.
0:30.5	He says that they missed out on their messianic visitation and therefore our
0:35.3	Lord was going to destroy this city and destroy this temple. That happened in 8070
0:40.9	when God sent the Roman armies and just destroyed the city and the temple was
0:45.4	once and for all destroyed. Now the beautiful thing about being a Catholic is
0:49.7	that we believe that the true temple is Jesus Christ.
0:53.4	Jesus said, destroy this temple and I'll raise it up in three days.
0:56.8	He was talking about the temple of his body.
0:59.1	So as Catholics, the true temple is the church,
1:02.3	the body of Christ, and then we go to mass and in the
1:05.1	Eucharist we receive the body of Christ the body of blood soul and the
1:08.3	beginning of Jesus Christ so no matter where you are you don't have to come to Jerusalem
1:12.0	to see the temple it's
1:12.8	not there anyway anywhere you go in in the world to a Catholic church you
1:17.1	receive the body of price and you are part of the body of price which means you're
1:20.4	part of the true temple of God.
