Dear Chris, I'm listening to episode 272 of the podcast and I have to take you to

task about your dick shaming. I really like your podcast but fuck you dude.

Saying that one should only send dick pics when it's appropriate is one thing.

I've had plenty of women enjoy receiving dick pics from me after we've established a relationship.

Kudos to you for helping educate. But to say, dick's are ugly is shaming. You're supposed to be the

shame exorcist and here you are reinforcing men's insecurities about their penis. That's stupid and

hypocritical. Get it together on this Chris and learn how to love your penis and stop saying that

penis is ugly. That's an email I got this week. And I wouldn't say it's the only one standing up

for the dicks. So yes, for those of you who feel that I was spreading dick-related shame in the

world, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad about your dick. On the other hand,

it seems to me that there's a lot of evidence that men are overly affectionate toward their

dicks. So you're right. I first of all, I never called myself the shame exorcist or us shame exorcist

that was all Duncan Trussels doing. But yeah, I'm again shame. I think regret can be a useful feeling,

but shame never is. On the other hand, I think a bit of perspective is called for and I think that

when there is an inflation or some sort of a bubble, psychological bubble that's expanding,

it needs to get practicationally if you'll pardon the puns. And I think there's a lot of evidence

that a lot of men think their dicks are these magical, incredible, like magic wands that all

you have to do is show it to a woman and she'll fall under its spell. Or if you fuck her with it,

oh my god, then she'll be yours forever. Or if someone else fucks her with theirs, then you've

lost her forever. There's all this weird magical thinking around dicks. And so that's what I was trying

to jokingly, I must say, deflate a little bit. I think we men, my impression is that men spend
