On a cold evening in January of 1999, Tika Lewis' parents took their two-year-old for a night of bowling.

Her mother left Tika playing on an arcade game for just a moment while she took her turn bowling.

When she looked back, her daughter had vanished.

Welcome back to Missing! I am Tim here today with Lance Lance. How are you today?

I am doing well and for this episode we have our friend and coworker Jennifer Amel join us

and we are speaking about the disappearance of Tika Lewis from Tacoma, Washington on January 23rd 1999.

There are no two ways about it. This one is a sad story, very tragic. She was only two and a half years old when she went missing.

We said it during the interview. It is tough to read statistics of anybody who is missing, male, female, young, old.

But when you describe somebody as being just three-foot tall and 35 pounds at the time of their disappearance, it hits home in a way that the others don't.

Because considering how helpless this incredibly young girl was, we also break down a lot of the other factors that went into this disappearance as potential abduction, the location, the amount of people around there, the incredible immediate investigation, both from law enforcement and by the public, and still no answers.

This one could use the help of the public, raising the awareness and making sure that it doesn't disappear.
