We are the lesson for our kids.

So to not do the hard thing yourself, they will never do a hard thing.

They're watching mom and dad do hard things,

getting them outside.

People are really worried about how their kids are going to act in a public setting like that.

On the mountain, at the lake, wherever you're going, going to the beach even,

these outside areas that are public

people get real self-conscious about what their kids might do so therefore they

avoid those situations you will certainly hear our kids crying and whining.

And it's a lesson, like they're going to do that in public,

but you will also see us publicly parent.

And it'll be a witness for whoever's watching,

and it'll be a hard lesson for us to try to figure it out in the moment but like I love what's on the other side of hard lessons.

Today we got to do a fun interview with Jeremy and Audrey Roloff. They are the New York Times best-selling

authors of a love letter Life. You guys have probably seen them around, I'll be honest, from like Little People Big World. Now they have an awesome podcast called These Are the Days.

It used to be called Behind the Scenes,

and they share more now about their kids and family life

and what they're doing practically there.

It was really fun to talk to Jeremy and Audrey. We haven't talked to them for years. We went to the same church for a brief period of time and we're just so encouraged by what they are doing with their family. It's fun to hear what they're doing differently

than how they were raised,

some of the things that they're doing the same,

and ways that they are taking the foundation
