of looking at health, medicine, and wellness.

So Tyler, tell me about what is functional foods all about?

So functional foods is looking at nutrition beyond just caloric density and looking at the different macros.

Oftentimes when we are, you know, thinking about food and nutrition, and we're focused on the proteins, the fats and the carbohydrates,

and sometimes those micronutrients, so vitamins and minerals

that are needed in smaller amounts compared to these larger macro groups.

And so functional foods provide health benefits beyond those macro and micronutrients.

And so it's really looking at food as nourishment and food as medicine, which is something

that I truly believe in, medicine, which is something that I

truly believe in, because food was this tool that I first utilized in my own health journey.

And I think that food can play a very profound impact on our quality of health and even be

an instrumental tool in reversing and preventing disease.
