One of the biggest struggles we have to face nowadays as entrepreneurs is the overwhelming amount of conflicting advice out there on how to grow your business.

And this confusion gets even more overwhelming when that advice is coming from a coach, a mentor or someone you trust to lead you in the right direction.

What we have to remember is that nothing is as powerful as listening to your own voice and trusting your intuition.

0:04.1	and we feel so lost and we don't even know where we stand anymore, what we're even doing anymore.
0:07.9	We have lost all of our ability to listen to our own voice and to trust ourselves.
0:16.4	Hello, hello. So I am filming this little podcast episode this morning because I was doing a one-on-one
0:22.4	call yesterday with somebody and it made me feel really sad and it made me feel like I really
0:27.3	wanted to jump on and talk about something that I think is an issue that affects so many of us.
0:34.5	And part of this is seeing so many people out there sharing so many different
0:40.9	pieces of advice and then feeling so confused and overwhelmed with what the right thing,
0:46.4	the right next step for us to take is and then feeling, yeah, just really confused with it
0:52.1	and then losing our own confidence in ourselves.
0:55.8	So let me tell you the story.
0:57.5	So yesterday on this call that I was doing, this person was not in a great place.
1:06.0	And I think she was feeling particularly low and had kind of actually closed down her business. And
1:16.2	there had been a series of, I think, different people who she had worked with. When they had told
1:24.3	her different things, for example, one person said, and I hear this all the time,
1:31.1	oh, I worked with this coach and she told me that I should change my business name so it's not a brand name and it's my personal name.
1:41.1	And so I changed everything to my personal name.
1:44.1	So for example, and people ask me this
1:45.4	question all the time, Carrie, should my business be a brand name or should I do it under my name?
1:49.8	So for example, it would be should I do as female entrepreneur association or should I do it as
1:55.1	Carrie Green? And this is a question I see a lot that comes up. And there's a lot of people out there,
2:02.0	or coaches who are like, you have to do it like this. It needs to be your personal name.
