Hi everybody, this is Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe

Gardner Show.

Many of you are familiar with the Certified Wildlife Habitat program through the National

Wildlife Federation.

And you might have first learned about that right here on this podcast.

My place here at the Garden Farm is a Certified Wildlife Habitat, and I'm sure many of you

listening right now have also certified your home garden.

And I love the whole idea of helping raise awareness, however that is, to make conscious

decisions with specific examples for how to attract a nurture wildlife wherever you live.

The face and the voice of much of what the National Wildlife Federation does, that person

is David Misajuski, and we've had him on the show a few times, but we're not talking

to David today.

Today, I want to talk about a new program the NWF has rolled out in the past year, and

it's called Garden for Wildlife.

May is Garden for Wildlife Month, as established by the NWF 10 years ago.

And so we wanted to make sure you knew about that, but also to learn more about this new

program that they've rolled out last year, and why I'm such a fan of what they're doing.
