Summary
In today's episode, Emily has a very special guest, Amanda Drake. Amanda is a client of Emily's Evolve X mentorship program. Emily is doing a series with past clients to allow them to share their personal growth journey of evolving. Each client has a very different experience and we are so honored to be sharing some of them. Amanda is from Georgia and is a wife and mom of 2. She is a business owner of a small chain automotive repair shop in Georgia as well as South Carolina. Amanda shares that she originally joined Evolve X because she was in a rut with her health and fitness routine but that ended up taking a backseat to the mindset development aspect of the program. She explains that she was living in a black and white version of the world and after journaling, analyzing her emotions and going through the lessons in the program, that brought color to her world. She also shares how she suffered imposter syndrome due to being in a male dominant industry. She felt she'd be judged on whether she could be a leader in this industry. It also affected her as a mother and as a body builder. She discusses that her confidence level grew 100% through the program and how her life has changed immensly. Listen to hear all the ways her life was impacted by the changes she made during and after the program.

| 0:51.6 | hi. We're so excited to have you today. You know, I think it's really important to share people's journeys of evolving, right? Because evolving is not easy and oftentimes it's not pretty. And I think it's important also to show the person that is a mom and a wife and a business owner, right? That's not necessarily in the social |
| 1:12.8 | media world because a lot of the people that I will interview on my show, they will be people |
| 1:17.5 | who either have their own podcast or they do YouTube. And I think sometimes it's more relatable and |
| 1:23.5 | more realistic for the listeners who might be a mom at home with their kids or, you know, |
| 1:28.9 | somebody pursuing their own business for them to hear somebody that has really walked in their shoes |
| 1:33.7 | and is currently walking in their shoes and just kind of hear from you like your actual experience |

| 2:08.3 | I would be heavily involved in a lot of that. |
