Hey guys, I am joined by Amy Knaup, who is a senior provider recruiter with provider solutions

and development. We are here to talk about asking for what you want when you really don't

know what you want, but you know you deserve more than what you get in. It's a kind of circuitous

way of saying PS&D is here, provider solutions and development is here to talk about, you know, how to ask for and think about alternative ways of practicing in your career. So, Amy, welcome the docs outside the box. What's up? What's good? Thank you. I'm excited to be here. Yeah, I'm excited you're here. So look, we are in December, right?

We're almost towards the end of December.

So I know in terms of the residents who are applying or at least in the whole spectrum of applying and looking for a position, right about now they maybe should be doing interviews.

Maybe to some people who are behind schedule, maybe some

people just don't know what they want. Talk to us. Let us know. Yeah, I would say some people

like to secure where they're going to practice really early on, maybe, you know, end of year two,

beginning of year three. But if you're a 22 resident or fellow and you're just now starting to see

what's out there, maybe where you want to practice, it's not too late. I think sometimes people

start to panic because, hey, we're almost to 2022, you know, that graduation year, but it is definitely

not too late. This is still a good time to really dive into where you want to be, what type of practice

you want to be in.

And, you know, I would say, too, look at our website and see what we've got open for you

and some resident resources there too.

Yeah, so we've been partnering almost for a year now, I think a little bit over a

year now. And we've, you know, through various interviews, you all have been given some great

information on how doctors and other providers can feel really empowered to make really smart

decisions in the type of job that they're looking for. And maybe not job, but maybe even the type of relationship that they're looking for and maybe not job, but maybe even the type

of relationship that they want to have of a hospital. So more specifically, maybe they just

want to work as an independent contractor for a little bit and kind of feel things out. So those
