Hi everybody, it's Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe Gardner

Show.

I have a question for you.

Have you ever tried growing something hydroponically or maybe aeroponically or possibly aquaponically?

Now I know I'm already getting ahead of myself, but today we are once again taking a dive

into a subject that we have yet to cover in any of the previous 259 episodes so far.

Today we're talking about growing hydroponically.

It's a soil free way to grow plants using just water and nutrients.

So if you are one of the people really looking to get away from using peat moss or corer or

soil of any kind, maybe this might be just the way for you.

Now I know a growing number of people are converts away from soil-based growing, and now it's

all with hydroponics, some are still experimenting and the jury is still out, and then there are

some that have tried it and decided it's just not for them.

I've tried it, I like it, but I love getting my hands in the soil even more.

And I think I will never depart from that as my primary growing medium at least because

I am definitely a hands in the soil kind of guy.

But our guest today does both in-ground gardening and is passionate about growing hydroponically.
