We got a lot of show and it's just a weird S this is a very strange guy he he's got a lot of parallels to oil can OK there's a lot of parallels and kind of the the manner of his growing up and some other things but then he doesn't quite have it together as much as oil can because of the time when it happened.

We understood even less about all this stuff and instead of getting someone proper help they just make them literally a judge sentence to him to go to a cult for 90 days like they didn't know what to do.

So it's it's an interesting tale let's talk about Warren Wells you know he is never never heard of him he's late 60s raider and you know kind of the beginning of that real raider thing and

the stereotype yeah he was a big part of it he was a great receiver just a fantastic receiver that one of those guys where people go what the hell happened to that guy he was great and then he was gone he didn't like fizzle he was in the pro ball and then he never saw him again wow the weirdest thing in the world and it's because his life completely spun out of control in just a a myriad of arrests and disaster and social media in the internet didn't exist so you didn't know you nobody knew yeah just kind of you're reading the paper.

So Warren Wells born November 14th 1942 so an older gentleman here obviously born Jesus mid world war two here I can the war effort was cranking up for us at this point he's born in Franklin Louisiana.

Yeah.

He I guess he lived there for a minute but he was born in Fremont Louisiana yeah and he said he recognized the if they moved to Beaumont when he was very little Beaumont Texas his family does.

Yeah yeah but they when they moved they thought Beaumont would be better for them as a black family than Louisiana and it didn't work out that way he said that he he he found what he called

the other justice down there that was a little bit different he says quote I know all about them Jim Crow laws I know the separate but equal stuff I know about separate water fountains riding the back of the bus and entering the real

rear of the store I've seen those colored only in white only signs hanging over the restrooms I was confused as a kid as to why they were there but through it all I really can't say that I'm angry which is just not mad it's so strange he says that

in he said I'm not the only person ever go through it so I'm not going to be angry about it and it's a very it's a very older school it's a fascinating way of looking at things it's old school it's it's not not that that's a good way I'm just saying like that was like that's kind of the way a lot of people thought back then it was everybody's going through it doesn't make it right that's the thing yeah but it's very strange he says quote I can see why Caucasians acted the way they did and still do.

But I can excuse them for it why do you see that how the why would they I can't see why they would say I don't want to go to the bathroom with my shits better than his shit do you know
